1,000km of Monza Zytek Report - 27th April 2008
For the second race running the Barazi-Epsilon team has been a denied a podium place following an accident. As at Barcelona, Michael Vergers was at the wheel when his Zytek 07S crashed at Monza’s famous Parabolica curve.

Michael Vergers valiant battle for a podium place at the 1,000km of Catalunya came to nought just under two hours into the race, when right hand side radiator damage, following an accident, caused the engine of his Zytek 07S to lose water.

Zytek Season Starts Here - 11th March 2008
The Barazi-Epsilon team, victor at the Silverstone and Interlagos races, will be competing at Sebring this Saturday with its ZG348-engined Zytek 07S, an identical car to the factory entry that also claimed overall fourth place at last year’s Petit Le Mans.


First Electric smart delivered to Coventry City Council - 16th Jan 2008
Coventry City Council took delivery in December of the first fully electric smart. The iconic car is the first of 100 cars to be delivered as part of a UK-based market trial for the introduction of a fully electric version of the popular two-seater (smart ed).


Marrying Diesel and Hybrid at low cost - 10th Jan 2008
Although diesel and hybrid drivetrains offer far greater fuel efficiency and subsequently lower CO2 emissions than gasoline hybrids, cost is a serious downside. Zytek decided it could help meet this tough challenge by developing a dual-mode hybrid that uses sophisticated control strategies to replace clutches and complex epicyclic gearsets.
